Welcome to YlemBit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and YlemBit ("we", "us", or "our") concerning your access to and use of our website, applications, and educational services, including the Physical Chemistry Notes mobile application (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Services.

1. Eligibility & Account Use

Our Services are designed for students, educators, and STEM researchers. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License to Use the Services

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, YlemBit grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

  • Access and view website materials for personal, non-commercial educational study and exam revision.
  • Download, install, and use official YlemBit mobile applications on compatible personal devices solely for your personal study and learning purposes.

3. Educational Content & Accuracy Disclaimer

The formulas, derivations, unit breakdowns, diagrams, and numerical calculation tools provided by YlemBit are created for study assistance and conceptual revision.

  • Educational Purpose Only: All content is provided solely for educational reference. YlemBit is an independent software tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any testing body, examination board, or university.
  • Independent Verification: While we run programmatic verifications and make every effort to maintain scientific and mathematical precision, all materials and calculations are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Students are responsible for verifying equations, signs, and physical constants against their official curriculum requirements and textbooks.
  • No Academic Guarantee: YlemBit does not guarantee academic performance, exam scores, or university admission outcomes resulting from the use of our software.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content and materials available through the Services—including software code, user interface designs, visual artwork, diagrams, proprietary formula categorizations, texts, and the YlemBit brand name and logos—are the intellectual property of YlemBit or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Universal scientific laws and mathematical equations reside in the public domain; however, the compilation, visual presentation schemas, custom diagrams, interactive calculators, and application code are proprietary to YlemBit.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or attempting to derive the source code of our mobile applications.
  • Using automated scrapers, crawlers, bots, or data extraction scripts to harvest content, database assets, or formula structures from our Services.
  • Reproducing, redistributing, selling, licensing, or commercially exploiting any portion of our software or content without express prior written consent.
  • Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security features or access limitations of our Services.
  • Submitting spam, abusive material, or malicious code through our contact or beta registration forms.

6. Mobile Application Distribution & Third-Party Stores

Our mobile application may be made available through third-party platforms such as Google Play. Your download, installation, and access are subject to the applicable terms of service and policies of such distribution platforms in addition to these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES OR ERROR. YLEMBIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL YLEMBIT, ITS FOUNDERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless YlemBit and its representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe your conduct violates these Terms, infringes upon intellectual property rights, or is harmful to other users or our platform.

11. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise and update these Terms at our discretion. Any modifications will become effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services following posted changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
